What do you say?
Hey everyone! How was your Summer?
With all the outside activity going on, I didn't have much time to check up on you guys and see how your lives have been. That's why I thought it would be the perfect time to see what you guys have been up to. ^^
I love stories, if you guys couldn't tell by my watcher involved journal entries. I like to get to know you guys better by sharing stories about the real you. SO INFORM ME OF YOUR SEASONAL AWESOMENESS!
For me, this is basically a summary of how my Summer went…
The first month, my best friend for years decided she was secretly jealous of me. And, through text message, ditched me as a friend. Her ever inclining paranoia and depression, which as a friend did my best to get her not feel, was inevitably the destruction of our friendship.
~Kids, the lesson here Trust, Love, and Live. Don't allow your fears to rule your life. If you do, you'll lose everyone close to you. And, sadly, eventually yourself. Jealousy is a bitch, and you'll become one allowing it to consume you
The funny thing about this… is that she's probably reading this. HA!
After that incident, I eventually got more hours at my job which allowed me to meet some new people: A.K.A Luke and Alex. As the majority of you guys advised, I went after Luke. (You guys have no idea how suiting that onion icon is ) We've had a few breaks together… I have his number… and well, I'm going to be going with him to watch him get his tattoo sleeve finished next week. I say things are progressing (Thank you watchers! )
Oh yeah, then for the 3rd of July, I went to watch a fireworks show with a friend of mine and my sister. The place was a huge baseball field with 4 fields in one. One of the fields was blocked off for the fireworks, right? Well, let's just say, my friend and I wanted a front row seat of these fireworks. And, well, we hopped the fence of the top of the dugout of that field and basically got the best seats in the house. It was amazing Though… I did get hit on by a gang of 14 year olds. I'm 19, and that was odd
For the actual 4th of July... Um, well, how can I put this? I almost got shot. There was some sort of gang fight, a guy was losing, he brought a gun, he pulled out the gun, and people ran. It was… different. Though, don't worry, no one actually got hurt. The guy did get away though, and he didn't ruin my 4th. After that happened, I just turned the corner of the next street with my friend and sister and said "Man, people are crazy." And found a place to watch the fireworks show continue.
About a few weeks later, I drove to Louisiana to visit family. That was the first time driving there by myself, and I loved the drive. It was so peaceful, and the roads are usually empty with trees everywhere, so it was a great experience. The visit was fun too ^^ I got to see my cousin, who I haven't seen in two years. He was imprisoned, but had just gotten out. He shared a lot of stories and we got a lot of icees. It was nice
Then, I went to Warped Tour! If you guys haven't gone, you should really consider going. It was amazing. You get to know a lot of new bands and rock out to bands you already love. I went to Warped with a group of friends and a guy I haven't seen in a long time. He's a dear friend, but he lives so far away and it's hard to see him. So the concert and spending time with him and the others , really made the day wonderful. (The night before was fun too. My friend ran into a chandelier, we played card games, and shot off fireworks then later ran pretending that no one saw that giant explosion in sky at 2 in the morning. It was an epic weekend )
~The tattoo I got for my mother. Which you guys probably don't know, she passed away 8 years ago. Her favorite flower was the rose, so now I have an eloquent rose outline on my wrist. It's about 3" long and 2 ˝" wide. It took a bit for the artist to do since the design isn't a common one. (My artist was picky, and awesome. Loved him. Shout out to Sparrows! ) I got the tattoo with my friend and she got one on the wrist opposite to mine. Going through the oh-so spontaneous process with her was so worth it, and I absolutely love the tattoo. All of my sisters are going to get my tattoo in the same place. I'm such a trend setter
That was just a week ago, and since then I've been hanging out with both old and new friends every day since then. My Summer started off in a way I could've never predicted, but ended in the best way possible. I did everything I could and lived it to my fullest, and I'm excited for what the next season is to bring me. Hopefully you guys are the same.
So whether or not you did anything this Summer, tell me how it was. All of you guys are awesome and are just plain interesting to talk to. *Cough* I have the coolest watchers ever *cough*
Let's share stories I'm curious about what you guys have been doing~
Slave to the Shadows Volume I: chapter 4
A beautiful woman with long, orange hair wearing a black and white maid's outfit walked casually towards a figure, relaxing in a chair.
"You have a call, Master Senyo," said the maid.
A shady-looking figure with slicked-back black hair, wearing a very classy black suit and glasses sat in his leather chair, positioned in front of a television screen; the figure twirled a glass of wine and stared straight with lazy attention.
"Put it through, Lauren," said Senyo.
Lauren pointed a remote at the screen and activated the transmission.
"As you wish, master."
A daunting figure with a bald head appeared.
"You son of a bitch! I'd rip you in half right now if I could!" shouted Gore furiously.
He was an intimidating figure standing over 7 feet tall and possessed a tone, muscular body. He wore a blood red cape over his back with an exposed upper body. His legs were covered in pants made of a strong and sturdy bulletproof material; and over his jawline lay a steel contraption used to
A Day Unlike the Others - Pt.2Part Two
Bickering was never his forte. The only way he knew how to solve his problems was physical, most of the times a fight. He didn't mind taking a few blows here and there, that was actually part of the whole "letting out the steam" procedure. But with Rithiell that wasn't a plausible solution.
After him walking away from her and turning at the corner of the bakery on his way to the local tavern of the district, he had stopped in order to calm down his nerves. Without even noticing, he had clenched his fists and gritted his teeth, thinking of what had happened. Why did he ever agree to take this job? He could have found something better. Maybe not as financially rewarding as this, but definitely something he could put his abilities to use. Right now he was just a babysitter for a flamboyant, superficial Qarista noble when he could have been a mercenary in Cutharrn'ach, joining the war against the cults. He could have been-
He felt the impact hard and took a step forward to
